In the Software Engineering Division of SOLTEL we are finalizing the paperwork to make us partners Bonita Open Solution. As you can imagine this kind of strategic decisions are not taken lightly, and are the result of a thorough analysis of the various solutions BPM (Business Process Management) is in the market.
Since our stack is based on opensource technologies, from the outset discard business models as Tibco (Staffware), Savvion, Lombardi,
Pegasystems, Appian, Global 260, or those of major manufacturers such as Oracle or IBM. We also find some "false" Open Source as Intalio, Active Enpoints, Shark.
On the other hand, it was worth a simple framework we type ODE, OpenWFE. Bonita is not a framework, is a complete solution :
Bonita Studio: design and develop processes. We can draw the business and the web layer. It is based on Eclipse. Bonita
User Experience: is the web-deploy and see the processes developed with Bonita Studio. It is divided into two independent parts, processes and forms a generic portal is User Experience account Inbox. Is a central access point for users to execute their tasks and processes.
Engine: where processes are executed. Bonita Execution Engine. 100% Java and is supported by the database to run the process.

Since we have finished our first serious project with Bonita, and that during the last two weeks we have received the training Soft Bonita official, we are in a superb setting for, in short, to contribute more to the Community Connector.
